Our European Rocketry Challenge (EuRoC) team are building a 2-stage rocket powered by COTS solid motors. Aiming to reach an apogee of 9km, at the competition day at Ponte de Sor, Portugal!
For CranSEDS 20th anniversary, we are designing and building a two-stage rocket, with the capability to successfully undertake subsonic and supersonic flights. This will make it eligible for both Mach-24 and EuRoC:
EuRoC 2023 had a target apogee of 9km and we anticipate a similar target for 2024. Further details are still to be confirmed!
We are a strong, multidisciplinary team! Members study a wide range of courses including Astronautics and Space Engineering, Materials, Thermal Power and Propulsion, Aerospace Computational Engineering, Manufacturing Technology and Management and Autonomous Vehicle Dynamics and Control. We are always looking for sponsors – so if you would like to contribute in any way, please do reach out!
