On April 14th, the news was confirmed by Cranfield University and has sparked a true shock in our Society: our Vice President and friend, Sai Tejaswi Kommareddy has passed away.
Before anything, we would like, as the Committee, to express our most sincere condolences to her close friends and family, whether here in the UK or in her home country.
We will always remember her as a bright and dedicated person, bringing a true expertise in the society. She has extensively worked on developing new partnerships and succeeded in contributing to the development of CranSEDS throughout the year.
"Teja" was a a positive and inspiring individual who could get work done without showing any stress, everything with her seemed so easy and straightforward. She was known throughout the whole university and club. The shock this tragedy caused, has made the whole Cranfield community distraught and in mourning ever since.
We are glad to have heard that the GoFundMe collect succeeded in collecting the funding to repatriate her to her loved ones, where she may rest in peace. Any additional funding received will go towards helping the family cope with this loss.
As an hommage, the Committee has chosen not to search for a new Vice President for until the end of this academic year. The Instagram CranSEDS logo has been passed in greyscale and will stay
" Tejaswi was very involved, passionate, and hardworking in all projects she took part in, as I came to know her. Her future was very bright and full of opportunities; it came as a great shock to all of us that such a promising young mind had been taken away from this world. My heart goes out to the family, and everyone close with her dealing with Teja’s passing. Her absence leaves a massive void in our community, but her memory will continue to inspire us."

I want to say that you were truly amazing. You brought so much joy and happiness into the world, and your kind heart and infectious smile brightened the lives of everyone you knew. You had a unique ability to make people feel seen and heard, and you always knew just what to say to make someone feel better.
Your absence is deeply felt, and I miss you more than words can express. You have been an inspiration for me in lot many ways, you were intelligent, smart just too amazing. I did not have enough time to tell you how amazing you were.
But you have demonstrated it with everything you did. Your eyes showed radiated passion. You were constantly eager to learn new stuff. No matter who you were with, you always managed to make it a unique moment. I share with our team's very first rocket.
Next time, I'll make sure it will fly up and beyond the stars to reach you.
