The Mach-22 team is reconfiguring last year's EuRoC rocket, a two-stage COTS solid motor rocket, to fly to 2.5 km and deploy a payload at apogee. The payload will scatter seeds on descent and aims demonstrate a novel method to increase launch site biodiversity.
Our team comprises 11 students from a range of courses, including Astronautics and Space Engineering, Aerospace Vehicle Design, and Autonomous Vehicle Design and Control.
We have specialisms in Mechanical, Avionics, Recovery, and Propulsion, and every team member also contributes to development of the payload.
